Hi Frds,
I have struck up with an issue.
I have an input file.In that file i have field of X(12).It may contain junk characters starting from any place. It means if contains 5 chars data then the remaining(From 6th position) may be junk r low values.if it contains data of 9 chars the from 10th position there may be junk. Now i need to change that to spaces.
Can any one help me on this. |

Hi,
When do You call something as "'junk", this needs to be undetstood. Define Your rules for junk data or best please share some sample records from input & show the expected output. We might come up with desired solution. |
