Usually we execute rexx exec in the command line. Is there any way to execute a rexx exec as a line command ? |

If Am not misunderstood, you want to run your REXX using a Time Sharing Option Command. If this is what you are looking for, you need to concatenate your library that has REXX code with the ISPEXEC library.
Once this is done, log off & then log on. now try TSO ( your member name). it should work.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Murthy. |

Murthy, I need help in running an exec as a line command, just like (Lowercase)LC, (uppercase) UC, M (Move) line commands that will act on specific lines in the editor.
Hope you understood my question now. |

No can do, unless you use your own editor-panel (which is doable, but somewhat tedious).

Oops my bad.. :-) Sorry about that. Am not sure if there is an option.. Just thought to share this point.....
I understand that you wanna do some action on some particular lines of a file. If this is the case then you can handle that with a Macro. but again its LINE Command. :-)
If you were aware of the above ... just ignore my suggestions.
Thanks,
Murthy. |

vgmurthy -
Good idea. One can use the C or M line commands in combination with the Edit-Macro command PROCESS.
