Hi,
I need a help to display my new IMS database status.
I am planning to create one new IMS database same like existing with changing any parameter except for DB name. And planning to insert some records in it.
I would like to list down how i have created my database.
1. I have copied New DBD from the existing DBD(Changed only DB name).
2. I did DBD gen for that. It went well.
3. Created utility PSB.
4. Run ACB gen jcl. It went well.
5. Created database dataset.
6. Initialized database.
Now DBD is present in DBDLIB and PSB id present in PSBLIB and DBD and PSB are present in ACBLIb.
I am trying to display the database in control region it say invalid database.
Pls advice, what i need to do more to complete my task.

Is this new database defined in the IMS DC region? |
