IMS DB?
Thanks,

the only way which comes to my mind is to process the logs ,
you should be able to identify the program who did it and the racf userid
for mpp if I remember correctly You should be able to find the tranid and the terminal where the transaction originated
long time since I had the need to do it
the longest time was to find out the right log,
and if somebody run a change accum and got rid of the older logs You might be out of luck
not worth the hassle for test environment |

Hi,
Thanks for your speedy response..
Could you please tell me how to identify the log dataset for MPP? Actually the claim got deleted two days before via online. Our online region will goes down every day for minimum 30 minutes. Will the log dataset still persist in the system?
Thanks,
Nagu |

it depends on the procedures and practices used for the test environment
the log might still be there, but the IMS management procedures in the test environments
are usualy more relaxed than in the production environment,
You might be better off speaking to the support group about Your need,
they will certainly tell You everything... good luck |

I forgot to tell You,
investigate with your support group, what tools they have available for IMS log analysis,
the might have something related to your need
a google search on "IMS LOG ANALYSIS" might also give You more hints on how to proceed
( my suggestion was a BRUTE FORCE approach ) |

Like enrico said it depends on your organisation. From the first link in the sticky where to find info about IMS after searching for 'message log' you migt have found a lot of info like this |
