Hello,

I suggest you talk with your configuration management/change control people.

If your system is licensed to use Endevor, all of the documentation is available for free from CA Support.

When you create a new version, the old versions will retain their version numbers, and the new version will have the next number (not Version 0, -1 or -2 like Librarian). During promotions Endevor will give you info and warnings if there are any surprises from the version numbers of any element, and the component version numbers imbedded inside that element.

In booking out, or accessing any element, Endevor will list all the versions available showing date last updated, for you to select one.
