I want to break the records
CAS093000100 03$001043
CAS093000200 03$999000
CAS093000300 03$001043
CAS093000400 03$360999
in the following format
CAS093197101 03$001
CAS093197102 03$043
when 999 is found in the data after $ I want the field from 7 byte to 10 byte to increment by one ie 1972. This 1972 should be applicable from next record output,the data after $ part should come in outrec with three byte in each output record.
Ie the output of next record should be
CAS093197201 03$001
CAS093197202 03$043
CAS093197202 03$360 |

Either your explanation is not enough or your requirement is confusing.
Put more examples with lots and lots of explanation (like from where did you get 1971 and 1972? etc....) |
