Hello,
I'd suggest you talk with your system support to learn the info you want as well as if it is permissable to distribute outside of your organization. |

When you LOGON to mainframe, it gives you all these information.
Try to read messages when you LOG on.
It will give System name, JES2 name, Node Name etc |

Dear rahulpandey,
D.sch. might be right when he said to get assistance from the system support team. To have all the information you said it will depend on the environment and the way it was configured for your profile access. I have already worked on different environments and some have this information available as you've said, others don't.
I will tell you how to get the NJE NODE name now that I have learned how to :
1. If you have access to sys1.parmilib dataset file you can find it;
2. If your TSO have access to SDSF tool , on the primary option menu you can type NODE, and by hitting ENTER you can find that info;
3. Otherwise you have to look for a tool under your environment that eventually gives you that information once it is a system variable, like for example ZSYSNODE. |

Hello,
Even when you have found the info you want, you need to get permission to distribute that information.
Providing "internal system info" to "another site" is grounds for dismissal in some organizations - it is a security breach. I'd suggest you get permission (in writing or an e-mail) before giving out this info. |
