Hello,
Yes, Easytrieve can access DB2 tables.
If your organization is licensed to use Easytrieve, all of the documentation can be downloaded for free from CA support. The documentation includes some DB2 examples.
If you create code code and have questions or problems, post what you read/coded here and someone should be able to offer suggestions. |

Thanks Dick.
Accessing DB2 tables thru Easytrieve, would it cause any performance issue compared to a Cobol program?
Thanks

You're welcome
I believe performance issues will be more related to the queries used rather than the Easytrieve code. If you run interpreted Easytrieve, it will usually take more cpu cycles. |
