Can ny1 give some brief description on How to do the following things in CICS.
1. After desinging of Basic Mapset how to test the screen layout
2. I am not in to any CICS project but want to learn CICS. Can anyone tell me how can I run a CICS program and what are the things required to run it.
P.S : - I have theoritical Idea and gone through the manuals.But I dont find any thing on how to run the CICS prg.
Your step by step process will be more helpful to me ......

Hello,
I'd suggest you talk with your CICS support people and find out if there is an already defined test transaction or 2 that you might use for learning/testing. They can tell you how to proceed in which CICS region on your system. You typically cannot "do it by yourself" when dong something like you want to do. |
