Hi,

If we mention Migrationlevel2 while migrating a dataset from DASD to tape ithe dataset will migrate to level2 but if we dont mention any migrationlevel the dataset will migrate to the level1 by default.
What is the difference between migrating a dataset to level1 and level2?

Thanks,
Arnab

ML1 is DASD, ML2 can be DASD or tape.

You need to speak to your own storage people to get the configuration at your shop.
