Please let me know how to send a mail from an IMS DC online transaction. Is there any way? |

| No - not in IMS - you could invoke a transaction to a specific region with those capibilities. |

I'm not sure how send it through IMS DC, but there's an alternate I can think of  . You can write the mail through IMS DC in a PS and create an interval job which sends mail by some utility like EMC2SEND. Just a suggestion, you might have tried.  |

Absolutely true. My mistake 
Instead of PS, can we use IMS database/GSAM file? Serves the same way, batch job can process it.  |

| GSAM is for BMP. An IMS database, if online, will do. |
