Hi,

I have a base cluster for which I want to build an alternate index. In this base cluster position 1 to 21 is my primary key. But for my alternate index I want to use position 1 to 15 and position 35 to 38... Is it possible to build an aix like this? If yes, then how?

If this is not possible, is there any way to ease out this situation?

Thanks in advance.

Rahul.

Not possible, any VSAM key must be a single range of values.
