How to read the GDG which has been created?

Hi,


I have a question ,i have GDG ,7 generations have been generated ,i want to read the details of the 3rd version,how can i do that,Could anyone please help me in that

Why dont use absolute generation number? Irrespective of number of gens, it always point to the same gen.

hi murali,


my question is like if i have GDG's like

a.g001
a.g002
a.g033

etc

since i cant able to use a browse option if i want to read a.g002 wat can i do for that

Is it a tape file?
