Sorry... Guys I need some help.. Is it possible to do perform similar function via File manager instead of File Aid ( Ofcourse I know File Aid and File Manager are more or less the same).
If we can, my question is... wont File Manager allow us to change the field when the field lengths are different.
i.e. I want to replace 'abc' by 'efgh'. is this not allowed? I couldnt make this change. Is this a restriction that comes along with File Manager or is there any option to overcome this problem. Please let me know.

This continuation looks remarkably like the thread you started in this forum, and as far as I know has been answered with a link to a solution.
