Hi,

I need to create one control card using easytrieve. I am new to easytrieve, so if any solution it will be helpful to me.

The control card should look like this

Payment report for date: xxxx/xx/xx

where xxxx/xx/xx is current date in ccyy/mm/dd format.

It will be very helpful if any one can give me the code.

But isn't that your job - creating the code ? We are here to help with problems that you have TRYING to get your EASYTRIVE program to work, not to supply your code for you.

So you want to create a file which has system date?
Easytrieve has system date function you can use that or
you can write SORT step to get system date in a file or
if you know any programming language then you can create your desired output file.
