changing text to ***** while typing in the cics screen

hi

I want to change the text for password being typed in the screen to *****

From all the previous post its not much clear how that can be done.

can someone tell the exact attr =??
what is the value for attr for changing the text to *****

best you can do is have it unreadable/non displayable. The SDF2 attribute to accomplish this is : DA.

BMS screens on a 3270 device are not interactive. You will never, as steve said, be able to have each input character converted to something.
