Hi All,

How we come to know that File has catlogged? Is there any way to find it out?

After submitting a batch job You can see if the file has been cataloged
by searching the JES log for the 2 lines message...

Code:
IEF285I   the.dataset.You.are.worried.about  KEPT | CATALOGED | DELETED
IEF285I   VOL SER NOS= the.volser(s).where.the.dataset.resides


If, on the other hand, You just want to know if a dataset exists AND is cataloged
simply use ISPF option 3.4
