Dear Experts,

I am able to unload the data from DB2 tables using BMC Unload.

But while unloading data from a VIEW with the same syntax, I am getting the following error .

BMC51957I LOAD CONTROL CARDS NOT GENERATED FOR "FORMAT CSV" BECAUSE CNTLCARDS BMCLOAD NOT SPECIFIED
BMC50229E VIEW DEFINITION FOR VIEW 'VIEW-NAME' NOT SUPPORTED, REASON CODE = 2
BMC50346I THE VSAM DATASET DOES NOT EXIST FOR TABLESPACE 'TABLESPACE-NAME'
0BMC50013I UTILITY EXECUTION TERMINATING, RETURN CODE = 8

Can anyone comment on this?

Hi,

Unlikely situation, share Your JCL. I think we, as an application engineer, are usually access to views only & not to 'base tables'. it should be doable.

P.S.:Sorry for commenting late...but i happen to see this today only...
