Hi Guys,
I want to write a report as follows.
emp-name emp-no emp-dep
dep-no address state
and the values would be
madan 123 acc
abc 7, blue ave AZ
How can i achive this format using easytrive code?

Hello,
Will there be multiple sets of values for each set of headers or will the headers and values be 1 for 1?
You might create a file rather than a report. |

Hi dick,
I am reading a file and write to the above reformat to the output file with multifile set of values for each set of headers.
Hope this will jelp you to understand my need.

Hello Shakti,
Yes, i believe i understand the requirement.
I also believe that you haven't understood what was suggested.
If you define the output as just another file (not a report), you can place the "headers" and the "values" as you need them in the output. An output "file" can be directed to the print queue by using SYSOUT rather than DSN=. |
