Hi
Can any one please explain me whether can we use more than one IKJEFT01 utility?
Actually in my job I am required to call two separate COBOL-Db2 program. For this I am using IKJEFT01 in two different steps. But the former step is executing while the latter one is not executed at all and the job is ending with a JCL-Error. However when I am bypassing the first IKJEFT01 utility, the job is ending successfully.
What is the reason for this problem? Exactly where am i going wrong in my understanding? |

Sorry to disturb you all with such a small issue. Actually I was not deleting a dataset and was recreating it to be used in the second program. For that reason, the program was abending. |

I think there is no such restriction on how many times can we call IKJEFT01.. only restriction can be by no. of steps permitted in a single JOB (255 steps..so 255 IKJEFT01 calls). However, I didn't check it yet. |
