Dick you better get a stronger magnifying glass, it's CA11 not CALL.

hi..I am really sorry for not making the question clear..actually in a proc step i will be creating a dataset giving disp=(new,catalog,delete)...so before executing that step i wanted to delete that dataset if it already exists...i used CA11RMS for that..i think it is notr elated to ca products...I am really sorry for the inconvenience.. icon_sad.gif

To delete datasets prior to a step that catalogs them I usuly use:

//STEP10R EXEC PGM=IEFBR14
//DD1 DD DSN=...,
// DISP=(MOD,DELETE,DELETE),SPACE=(TRK,1)
