Hi,
Can anybody tell me the "End of support" dates for CA-IDMS releases prior to Server R16.1?
Thanks for your response.

Hello,
I suspect your best answer will come from CA support.
Depending on the product, sometimes the "drop dead" date is changed. Sometimes there is also a provision to pay for extended support (at least with some of the products i've supported - which does not include IDMS). |

dick,
what ballpark figure would such extended support charge per annum? Say to cover ENDEVOR Release 4 which is currently out of CA support? |

Hello,
The $ would probably depend on the existing relationiship between CA and the client. Things like how the product is currently being licensed (if it is or if the client chose to discontinue licensing the product), how long the specific release has been out of support, and if there even is a way to buy extended support for that product. There may be additional considerations as well.
I would not even want to guess at what the price might be.
If the client is no longer under ca-support (the place i would start), i would try the CA marketing group for the client organization.
Sorry that i cannot be more help.
