Please help me in understanding how much is 1 BLKS, 1 TRK , I CYL in terms of KB.

It depends on model. Generally its considered as 48K not 47.

Well, with the industry standard as being 3390 the amount is 55K.

The optimum BLKSIZE for 3390 is 27998 for VB, and for FB being the integer number of records divisible into 27998.
