hi,
In a check point call in a batch IMS program, im getting status codes
AL for IO PCB and status code GE for check point pcb.
Please suggest how to rectify the error.. Please specify if further details are required for problem determination. |

A small correction, sorry, its first restart call in the begining of the program execution.
In a restart call in a batch IMS program, im getting status codes
AL for IO PCB and status code GE for check point pcb.
Please suggest how to rectify the error.. Please specify if further details are required for problem determination. |

A batch IMS program cannot issue calls on the IO-PCB; click
As for the GE click.
Looks like a mix-up; sure this is a batch program or is it a nonmessage driven BMP? The AL tells you issue calls against the IO-PCB so probably you should run it as a message driven BMP. |

IO PCB is valid in a batch DLI program for check point restart call.
The error was because the PSB definition was not properly set in the region's checkpoint restart database.
