Hi Friend

Binding DBRMs as packages helps you to support multiple versions of
the same program. To maintain multiple versions in a plan without
packages requires separate plans for each version, and therefore
separate plan names and RUN commands. Isolating versions of a program by using packages allows you to maintain only one plan and helps to make program migration and fallback easier. For example, you could concurrently maintain development, test, and production levels of a
program by binding each level of each program as a separate package,
all within a single plan.
