Hello,
What you want to write is very likely already available via your scheduling software.
Have you talked with the scheduling people to see if you might use something that is already available, but not yet used? |

Hi,
As Naveen asked, is it possible to check in SAR and give details like which job got abended... like in SAR we have many jobs to be routed. But when we run a job, it should tell which job abended at that time. we need to pass From-Time and To-Time... so within these timings we want know which job abended!!!!
Apart from this i like to know is there any tool that can be used in a job to find out which job used particular program. For eg: all the production jobs are routed to SAR 2 after completion. Now i want check a which job is executed a particular program. i want pass the program name and find out job name.... is it possible??
Regards,

Hello,
Please check the earlier answer for your first question.
For finding out which job used "the program", you can get this information from the SMF log. If yoiu talk with your system support or storage management people, they may already have something you can use to process SMF data and find what you want. |
