Hi,

I have a PDS XXXX.TEST.SAMPLE which have 15 members in it. I am required to password protect a particular member. Is it possible to protect a single member or should I protect the complete PDS??

If I can password protect one member, then how can i do the same? Please help me out in this regards.

swapnadeep,

Generally 'creating a password protected dataset' is not adivsable. Check with your STORAGE team before you do it.

Murali,

To give you a better idea of the problem, I am required to provide some important datas in a parm. I have to restrict the general access to the PARM. Only persons with admin authority is authorised to view the same.

How can I do this?

Every shop maintains few HLQ's with restricted access, you may use those datasets. Speak with your shop's SECURITY team.
