what is the difference between Exit and Stop run?

how does the verbs: exit and stop run functionally different?

Thread is a Language Environment (LE) term, and is also described in the fine manual.

I have not read the post that has been quoted up here. But from my experiance i can say that 'exit' is just a verb that simply does nothin! while 'stop run' actually stops the execution.

iam not saying iam fully correct in my statements but i feel this is correct by my personal use of both the verbs in the above defined way.
