line parameter is used for to send message to whome it should be notify...
like
LINES=(200,WARNING) will send a warning message to the operator if more than 200,000 SYSOUT lines are produced for this job.don't know abt CANCEL keyword...let me know if you have any idea. |

Hi Vijay,
The LINES parameter is an optional parameter on the JOB statement
for use with ESA 4.2 and later releases. It indicates the maximum
amount of output, in thousands of lines, to be printed for the job'
sysout data sets. It can also be used to specify the action that
the system is to take if the maximum is exceeded.
If the LINES parameter is not specified, then the system uses an
installation-defined default value.
Thanks,
Reddy |

The lines=(1,cancel) parameter is an optional keyword parameter. This causes the job to abend if the SYSOUT crosses 1,000 lines. The job will abend with S722 ABEND code. |
