How to change the RC in a step executing PGM=FILEAID?

Hi all,

In my JCL, i have a step as shown below:
//step exec pgm=FILEAID

This steps give RC=8 if the input file is empty. Instead i want set RC=0.

Hello,

I doubt that FileAid will be changed to do what you want. . .

You need to plan your jcl around how that product works or change your application so that the file is never empty. Many applications have a record that is tested for in the code that signifies "no data".

What' s wrong in checking for a return code of 8 instead of 0
