As I understand it when migrating from IMS v6 to IMS v9 you cannot upgrade the RECONs, so you have to manually re-init and re-register all databases and data sets to DBRC and basically create new RECONS. Also I believe that the logs and change accum data sets from v6 are not compatible with IMS 9 utilities. Any more 'show stoppers' that I have missed here involving DBRC?
Thanks

Hello David and welcome to the forums,
When you have a question, it is better to start a new topic for your question rather than posting a reply to an existing similar topic.
Your question will be moved into a new topic and someone should reply soon. |
