I do have a problem in which I want to know the Authorized users in a specifici IMS transaction on a certain region(COPE Region)?
Thanks.
Could it be done on Delta IMS? on TSO BMCADM?
Thanks. |

Please explain some more. Do you want to know which users are granted access to an IMS transactioncode? |

Easiest approach if you know the transaction code...try invoking transaction and if it gives error "Security violation or no access" then it means you dont have access to the transaction. |

Devzee, I think TS doesn't need to know whether he's authorized but from his question I think he wants to know which other users. |

Both is what I want to know if I do have access and who are the users that do have access on the transaction. |

The information about any resource ( a transaction in this case )
and the users authorized to access such resource
is normally available thru a query/display command of
Your security system ( RACF, TSS, ACF )
The security administrators will certainly be able to give You such an info,
or even to allow You to issue the command to find that out by Yourself,
given that YOU HAVE THE NEED TO KNOW |

RACF, TSS, acf are different security packages, I listed all of them in order to
keep a marketing neutral approach
This works on Your problem/concern exactly as I said
If You have the need to know Your security team will help You by
gathering the information You ask for,
or training You in order to let You get that information by Yourself
as far as the command required do to it ...
my personal opinion - for ethics reasons - is not to give any sample
expecially for security related issue
as I said before ( repetita juvant - it always help to repeat things)
