Hello,

Do you want to change the creeate date to "today" or do you want to just pick a date?

Hello,

I want to change it to today, but I would also like to know the other one.

Thanks,

Hello,

I don't know if "the other one" can easily be done.

If you want to change the create date to today, rename the existing dataset and then copy it to the original name (or copy the original to some newname and then rename them both). There will then be a file with the creation date of today.

Having said that, there may be reasons why this should not be done. . . .

My first question would be "Why would you want to ?" - What benefit will this have.

Hey Dick, surely you've zapped a VTOC in the past. Wouldn't that work.

Maybe i'm too suspicious - makes me wonder what "history" is being re-written. . .
