HLASM is the IBM high level assembler used on z/OS
TPF assembler is basically the same but ported to the TPF environment
TPF ( transaction processing facility )
is a very high performance transaction system
( designed for thousandths transactions per minute,
high concurrency and so on )
it is the evolution of ACP ( airline control program )
a transaction processing system designed for airline reservation management ( thousands of terminals and so on ) |

Thanks for your reply.
But I just wanted to confirm whether there is any difference technically i.e. in terms of coding, formats, reserved words etc.. between TPF Assembler and HLASM.
Thanks,
Ajay |
