Are you adding a New element Or One which modified?

If you are adding New element Then, you have to Give PROC Group ID.

If you are adding existing Element after modification, Check whether Element is present in ENDEVOR if it is present, Check whether you got SIGN OUT Elenment or Someone else?

While retrieving an Element you must Sign Out the Element if you want to add an Element again..

Let Us know What exactly You are doing. Check all The above and do it.
If you faced any problem let us know and post your problem..

Thanks & Regards

Hi Hemanth,

Thanks for your response.
Actually, I was trying to add an existing component after making some changes. The error as it appears in spool is as below:

SMGR076E MATCHUP ERROR - 0007-005F 3BBADDE0 3BC2FD78 00000000 3BBB2848 3BC39A18
SMGR078E ERROR ACCESSING LINE NUMBER TABLE DURING COMPARE
SMGR079E REQUESTED 00000000 OF 00001317, RETURN OFFSET = 00000000, TABLE AT 3BC28E68

When we checked for 3BC28E68 in SYSUDUMP and found a error 0000E0.
The explanation found for this error as follows:

0000E0 TOD CLOCK ERROR
Module: DXCTIR
Explanation: The processor time-of-day (TOD) clock is in not-set, error, stopped, or not-operational state.
System Action: ALCS ends abnormally.
Operator Response: Ensure that the TOD clock is operational and set. Then activate the alternate ALCS if there is one, or restart ALCS

Could you be able to guide me.

Thanks & Regards,
Jaydeb.

Hi Jaydeb,

DO YOUR ADDS OR GENERATES IN BATCH MODE

Are you doing so? Had you checked all feasibilties of error as I mentioned before?

But I don't know about TOD clock. Also we are using SCL to do the same.

Refer Manual it might helpful to you.

Hi Hemantha,

Thanks once again for your help. I got a way round the above problem. Though, I am still not aware why the problem occurred but I got a quick fix to it.
I deleted the component even from production and then added it again.

Thanks & Regards,
Jaydeb.

Im not sure about your shop standards. But wanted to ask few things -

First, How safe is it to delete the element from production? Did you speak with someone before doing this? If any of the existing components are using this element, did you bother to recompile those?

Second, do you have access to do this?

Sorry, I meant to say psudo-production from where it migrates to production environment. I belong to a CMMI level company and all the standards are followed as per guide lines.
Yes all the necessary steps were taken.

Thanks,
