HI
TODAY I WAS TRYING TO EDIT JCL ,BUT I FOUND SOME USER IS BROWSING TEH SAME JCL.
I GOT THE ERROR AS :-
IOADJGE THE REQUESTED MEMBER IS IN USE BY ANOTHER
COMMAND ===> SCROLL ==> CRSR
O Name Owner Odate Jobname JobID Typ ----------- Status ------------
J PRDJOB1 PD2 100907 JOB Wait Schedule
========= >>>>>>>>>>>>> Bottom of Jobs List <<<<<<<<<<<<< ========
Please let me know how to get the user who is browsing my jcl???

just try opening the member in 3.4 and then press F1 twice to get the userid who is using that member |

after getting the error message press F1 twice so that u will get the user name whois using that. Then use 'TSO whois useename' in command line to get the user name. |

IT IS WRONG,
he will try,
will get a strange message,
will ask his support people,
will get a nasty answer,
will ask in the forum
somebody will post another installation dependent command
and again and again |

HI
Am using control-M, so while editing my job's jcl ,i got to know some body is browsing the jcl so i cann't open my jcl for editing.
So i need to know how to get the user who is browsing at that time.
I have Whois authority to see.
but for me F1 is for help screen
so i got struck how to get the user????
