Hi,
Which would be better? IEBGENER or IEFBR14 to create an empty GDG Version.

| Both work fine, but if you use IEFBR14 remember to include MODLDSCB or DSORG=PS. Otherwise the empty generation will not be able to be opened to be read. |

| I'd use DFSORT. Just my personal preference to give me precise control over the RECFM and LRECL. |
