Hi mmr & Welcome to Froums,
Do not know about such a book, still try this link. This link is for JCL Test, search the site a bit, COBOL test should be there.
Hope this helps. |

to exercise Your logic skills I would suggest :
"The art of computer programming" by Donald Knuth
strongly mathematics oriented,
expensive but worth reading and meditating

Hi All
books will help you to understand the ABCD of the language and how effectively u can use these verbs or commands in your program is depends on ur talent and logic developed by you
My suggestion is, you pls go through the already written programs, and concentrate on the logic that they have written try to implement your logic in another way, which explore your talent......
Regard's

Hello,
If you are looking for some books to study from, i'd suggest looking at http://www.murach.com/books/mainframe.htm
Once you are more comfortable with the material, learning to use the IBM reference manuals would benefit you. The reference manuals aren't as well suited to "teaching" but they do have "all" of the info. Many commonly used reference manuals are available via the "Manuals" link at the top of the page.
If you read something that is not clear, post it and your question about it in the forum and someone will be able to clarify. |
