Hi,
How do get to know whether a particular transaction is looping or not.Any log is created for the same? Actually the looping transaction is eating away all the database resourse. All suggestions are welcomed in the regrd.

Thanks and regards,
vishal

Depending on type of loop.... this is true. But not always.

Eg: What if the application starts 'n' transactions and they repeat the process again and again?

As a band-aid, till the application is fixed, you can have the CICS transaction canceled automatically to limit database resources consumes, and prevent excessive locks.
