DB2 Bind for subroutines

Consider a scenario such that the main program is using IMS and its subprogram is using DB2.
If we compile the main program without having any change to subprogram do we need to bind the subprogram.

You do not need to rebind DB2 packages for these subprograms.

yes there is no need to bind
