I have a panel. And entering a particular option in it should invoke a job containing sql statements like select, etc and submit them. I have some symbols like '>' in this select. This is not being identified. Also, i am not sure about the way select statements can be used in ISPEXEC environments.

How are you generating the SQL code, dynamically or via a skeleton.

What exactly is your problem here ?

How do you mean -
Also, i am not sure about the way select statements can be used in ISPEXEC environments.

You can include any character in an ISPF skeleton. For more information, please refer to the fine manual.
