Hi,
I tried to find some info on CA7 report generation but could not find anything specific to what I am looking for.
I need a report to list out all the jobs in queue say JOB=ABC*, and I want to get this report created in a dataset.
For example, I see the job queue by the command:
But I need this report in a dataset. I need this report in a dataset and I need an hourly report from the above command which lists out all the job in queue with the particular node. It would be very helpful if I can also catch the exception counts in this report somehow.
Is there something that I do in APA? Or, can I have a job that can pull out a report from CA7.

Run CA7 in batch mode via SASSBSTR and direct SYSPRINT (?) to a DASD data set. |

ok.. this was helpful..
I submitted the command LQR,JOB=ABC* by using this program.
This also gave me some info on the CPU time required for the job. Can I somehow get the exception count also in CA7 ( the EXCP-Cnt that you get in JES for each of the running jobs)..? Or can I pull this from JES somehow by submitting a job..? |
