I have a sort job that takes in around 50 million records sorts it on some fields and writes the output. I have to optimize the job so that i can reduce the CPU time. Is there any ways to do this?

Thanks

Hello,

Also, please keep in mind that sorting 50mil records will take some amount of cpu time. . .

If you post your jcl and control statement(s) as well as the dcb information about the input/output, someone here may have suggestions.
