| While execution of a read command for a KSDS file i am getting a EIBRESP code of +16.Can anyone suggest why this error code is coming and a possible solution to it. |

EIBRESP=16 means invalid request (INVREQ). However, if you want to get more specific information about your error, you will have to get the value of EIBRESP2, and then look at the fine manual.
