I want to replace a caption( and not data filed values) on the MFS programatically i.e. when i format the screen i should get the default captions but while dispalying for a particular category of record i should have the field caption changed accordingly. the captions can not be modified from screen.
Please suggest how i do this??

You should declare the field as DFLD, and then from program set appropriate values to this field.

Don't forget to make it a modifiable and protected field.
