What's the meaning of ISPEXEC VGET (ZSYSID)

Hello,

Can anyone tell me what the following mean?

"ISPEXEC VGET (ZSYSID)" /* GET THE BOX ID */
"ISPEXEC VGET (DB2V) PROFILE"

I keep on getting a RC20 but I don't know what to do because I don't know what it means. Can someone suggest a way to remove this rc20?

Are you attempting to use ISPF services outside of an ISPF environment perhaps ?

What is this REXX script or CLIST trying todo? Not these instructions, we know what these instructions accomplish. you need to understand what a VGET accomplishes. suggest you go thru the manuals organized at this link

After that, and spending some time determining what is going on and why, we can offer a better solution than:

remove the instruction and you won't get the rc20
