I have an FTP PUT statement which is extending beyond the 72nd column.
I saw an article that says that data after the 72nd column would be ignored but the JCL.
Kindly let me know how to solve this issue. Is there any continuation technique to follow to write it on 2 lines or could we type to the 80th column and it would work. |

I kind of find it hard to believe that a PUT statement would get that long, but, anyway, Yes to both questions.
See Chapter 4.9 Submitting FTP requests in batch in the z/OS V1R8.0 Comm Svr: IP User's Guide and Commands manual. |
