Hi,

Can anyone helpme to know about reference modification usage in Easytrieve?

I need to move 41st position of a field to another field. Can I do this like i do in Cobol?

Thanks in advance,

Hello,

Just define the single-byte at pos 41 as a field.

EZT character definitions are composed of a name, displacement, length, and type. I believe something like
Code:
POS41 41 1 A
following your file definiition will do what you want.
