Does anyone know how to copy only some portion of the data for a selected criteria.
Eg : Input file contains data for 5 cols/variables
col1 col2 col3 col4 col5
But in the output i need only data for col1 col2 and col5, is it possible to do this in File Aid- Batch Mode
Output :
Col1 col2 col5 |

ya it is possible to execute file aid copy in batch mode...it is F;3;3..here in this you can mention O(online) or B(batch) mode of copy...there only you will get selection criteria, mention there temporary option then filter out the record which you want to give in fileter option's provided.Let me know if i made you confused.Though i never tried, let me know if you have any better answer. |

ACCUM=(location,length,data-type[,'description'])>if I am wrong please correct me. |
