OUTREC FIELDS What each fields indicates

Hi All

Please can any one suggest me what each fields indicates, This will be OUTREC FIELD will be used for converting binary fields to display format(ZD) ,

OUTREC FIELDS=(1,4,X, 5,4,BI,TO=ZD,LENGTH=6,X, ,4,BI,TO=ZD,LENGTH=6)

1,4 - copies input positions 1-4 to output positions 1-4

X - puts a blank in output position 5

5,4,BI,TO=ZD,LENGTH=6 - converts the 4-byte binary value in input positions 5-8 to a 6-byte ZD value in output positions 6-11

and so on.
